Youth and Family Services is committed to providing a wide range of accessible, coordinated and integrated services, which meet the needs of our youth and their families regardless of gender, race, income or beliefs. Henderson Behavioral Health system offers Healthy Start program for pregnant women, as well as several other Prevention programs for families in need of services/support regarding at-risk out-of-home placements of children, abuse and/or neglect concerns, chronic and violent juvenile offenders, family substance use/mental health disorders that authorities identify may put children at-risk. Clinical services: outpatient therapy, in-home therapy, family intervention team, dual diagnosis guidance and empowerment, wraparound services for youth discharged from residential treatment or at risk of removal from their home due to behavioral health issues, individual and family therapy to correct conditions that lead to removal of one or more children from the home (beginning following removal and continuing through reunification), psychiatric and medication management. Case management services: youth case management using wraparound services to help families access services and identify relevant support systems, wraparound diversion for juvenile offenders with behavioral health conditions, crisis intervention to children and families involved with the child protective system to help stabilize their placement or assist with re-entry into the community from hospital, residential treatment, or detention
