The LIFE Center of the Suncoast, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to providing grief counseling due to the death of a loved one, trauma counseling for victims of crimes, or stress and wellness counseling. Our mission is to provide emotional support, counseling, intervention, education and training in a compassionate, healing environment, in order to help children, adults and families reduce the effects of loss or trauma and lead healthy and productive lives. Finding a supportive place where some of the deepest and most painful issues of life are explored with professionally trained staff can make an immeasurable difference in working through trauma and losses. The LIFE Center of the Suncoast, Inc. provides individual and family counseling for victims of traumatic loss or survivors of a crime. Specifically, those victims of Homicide, DUI, Hit and Run, Robbery, Sexual Assault, Physical Assault, Domestic Violence, Domestic Terrorism, Hate Crimes, and many more. We are able to provide these services FREE of charge for victims of crime through a State of Florida Victims of Crime Act grant. The ‹nderserved Program is an in-house, donation funded program which provides FREE counseling for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to illness, vehicular accident or suicide and cannot afford our rates.
