The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers individuals who are struggling with mental health disorders or substance abuse problems the support of a structured treatment setting that is less intensive than inpatient programs. Seniors participate in five group therapy sessions per day, five days a week, with an average stay of two weeks. Seniors benefit from the use of treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the 12-Step method of recovery, and motivational interviewing, and they attend groups that cover topics that are relevant to older adults, such as grief and loss, memory concerns, anger management, and relationship conflict. The PHP program meets five days a week (Monday-Friday) 8:30am-3:30pm with lunch provided. The following services are available during the PHP program: Medication Management, Medication Assisted Treatment (Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol), individual therapy, group therapy, and recreational activities. Treatment available for adjustment disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, self-harm, suicidal ideation, alcohol use, opiate use, heroin use, and prescription medication use.
