This is a short term, diversion program from county jail facilities, adults mental health crisis services, and hospital emergency rooms.Length of stay is 3 to 10 days maximum, with 30 slots available.Individuals with co-occuring substance abuse ( alcohol and/or drugs), mental health disorders, and homeless who are inebriated and at risk of incarceration.Referrals can come from Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Tampa Police Department, local surrounding law enforcement agencies, and individuals identified at first appearance hearings due to intoxication or substance abuse and charged with a non-violent misdemeanor.* Individuals can not refer themselves to this program. *
