Advantage Outpatient Services

Advantage Mental Health Center is a team of mental health professionals offering a wide range of medication and counseling services.Psychiatric medication management includes but is not limited, to performing or obtaining necessary assessments of the patientís health status; formulating a medication treatment plan; selecting, initiating, modifying, or administering medication; and monitoring and evaluating the patientís response to medication, including safety and effectiveness. We also perform a comprehensive medication review to identify, resolve and prevent medication-related problems, including adverse drug effects.Psychotherapy is a way to treat mental health issues by educating patients about the biological, psychological, and social factors that affect their illness. It provides them tools to better manage their own thoughts and feelings. Counseling sessions are available for teens, adults, couples, and families. Sessions often involve cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, and dialectical behavior therapy.Outpatient substance use disorder treatment is also available for those struggling with alcohol, opioid, and other addictions. Services include medication assisted detox, medication assisted treatment, counseling, and external support groups.
