Services Provided: Substance abuse treatment services, Detoxification( does not detox methadone)Type of Care: Hospital inpatient, Residential short-term treatment (30 days or less), Outpatient, Partial hospitalization/day treatmentSpecial Programs/Groups: Persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, Seniors/older adults, Women, Menï Access Services: Assessment team completes a comprehensive assessment and, in conjunction with the individual, make a determination as to the appropriateness of treatment and level of care.ï Detoxification: A multidisciplinary team offers medically supervised detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs. In addition to medical stabilization, clients participate in an individualized assessment. Education and information regarding addiction and recovery is provided to clients and their families. Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are conducted daily. The detoxification program varies depending on clients' need. Each client completing this program will receive a referral to continue treatment services within BARC or to another appropriate agency.ï Co-Occurring Disorders (COD): A specialized program which provides substance abuse treatment services to individuals presenting with both substance abuse and mental health issues.
