A 501c3, Non-profit Charity established in 1985. Hosting 8 weekly (free) mental health Peer to Peer support groups, and also online Zoom Peer to Peer support groups for the 4 county region of Tampa Bay Florida. For individuals diagnosed with major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder and other affective (mood) disorders. Support groups in-person meet on Mondays in Brandon and Sarasota, Tuesdays in South Tampa and St. Petersburg, Wednesdays in Clearwater and Online for all areas (call or email to register for the link), and Thursday St. Petersburg West side. Also hosting of a long standing, free lecture / workshop series featuring top psychiatrists, mental health professionals and authors to help dispel the stigma of mental illness and to educate the general public regarding Bipolar Disorder and Major Depressive Illness. Additionally, a large library of the the latest self-help books available for support group attendees to borrow. Family and loved ones are welcome to attend in support of their loved one or for themselves as caregivers of a diagnosed individual. A dedicated phone line answered 9 to 9 seven days a week.
