Gateway has three levels of outpatient treatment, each with specific time commitments. Before patients are admitted to many of our outpatient programs, they must attend four two hour Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) groups. Our traditional outpatient services program, the least restrictive level of care, meets from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. once or twice a week. For evening groups, the frequency of this service could increase to four nights a week depending on the need of the individual. Our next level of care, day program meets three hours a day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. five days a week for six to eight weeks. Patients can also attend our Intensive Outpatient Program, which is offered both in the mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and evening from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. three times a week.
