The IOP is a therapeutic treatment program consisting of a psychiatric evaluation and nursing assessment followed by group and individual therapy services. Unlike standard outpatient services, which typically consist of 1 hour of service per week, participants of the IOP program will receive 4 hours of service, 3 days a week. Service duration is determined by medical necessity and clinical appropriateness varying length of services to each program participantís individual needs. What Should a Participant Expect from IOP? ï A psychiatric evaluation, and if appropriate, medication management while involved in the program. ï Frequent group therapy sessions the provide an environment that fosters learning about mental health, healthy ways of managing conditions and symptoms specific to participantís diagnoses, behaviors, and experiences. ï Individual therapy sessions, as needed, to further a participantís progress towards recovery. ï Holistic enrichment activities, such as sessions conducted with therapy dogs. We provide care and treatment for: Emergency stabilization Specialty care Anxiety disorders Substance Abuse Disorder Program Evaluation Child and Adolescent Care Inpatient and Outpatient Care For children, adolescents, and teens (10 years old and older), our Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and our highly trained team of professionals in adolescent care provide the treatment that young patients need, including family therapy. Alcohol and/or opiate detoxification for the acute phase of addictions. Clinical depression Among the leading-edge treatments for depression that we offer are Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
