Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric ProgramSIPP is an intensive therapeutic residential treatment program serving children and adolescents who require acute residential care. Typically, a participant resides in the program for 3-6 months. The child/adolescent must have a primary diagnosis that indicates a psychiatric disorder that is severe in nature and requires more intensive treatment than can be provided in a traditional outpatient setting. A key element to the program is family therapy and education, which is designed to help repair and improve the relationship between the participant and their family.
