The CSU is the Baker-Act Receiving facility for Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties. The CSU provides emergency psychiatric treatment and stabilization services to adults and children.Peace River Center's Crisis Response Team (CRT) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer calls on the mental health crisis hotline and respond on-site to crisis situations in the community.
