RRHS offers medication-assisted treatment services, including methadone, suboxone, subutex and vivitrol, to individuals experiencing opioid and alcohol dependency. These services include group and individual therapy, substance use education, mental health services and referrals for medical services. MAT treatment consists of methadone, suboxone, subutex and vivitrol which are synthetic drugs used in the treatment of opiate dependence/alcohol for individuals in River Regionís MAT program. It helps reduce accidental overdose and suppresses cravings and withdrawals. MAT is extremely beneficial in the successful treatment of opiate dependency.
