The Behavioral Health Center at HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital consists of three separate behavioral health units: (1) a 35 bed general adult psychiatric unit with 16 private rooms; (2) a 32 bed general adult psychiatric, all private rooms; and a 12 bed senior adult (geriatric) unit, all private rooms. HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital is a Baker Act receiving facility. †The Behavioral Health Center offers behavioral healthcare focusing on diagnosis, intervention, and stabilization. †The program offers specialized care in a dedicated setting while having full access to all the medical care within the hospital.
