Twelve Oaks Recovery Center Adult Program

Twelve Oaks' drug rehabilitation center is a private, free-standing 84 bed alcohol and drug recovery center located in the Florida Panhandle.†The Twelve Oaks addiction treatment program is patterned after the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). An individualized treatment plan is designed based on the specific needs of each patient, and usually consists of a 30 day inpatient period followed by an outpatient aftercare program. Program has been developed by leading experts in the field of chemical dependency and incorporates a multi-disciplinary approach based on best practices to accomplish the following key objectives:1. Identify the need for chemical dependency treatment using:a. Comprehensive diagnostic evaluationb. Developmental historyc. Psychological testingd. History and physical examinatione. Social historyf. Self-assessmentg. A meeting at the end of the evaluation period reviews finding and recommends a treatment approach, if needed.2. Provide comprehensive treatment and recovery services.3. Treat the specific and unique needs of each patient.4. Provide each patient with the opportunity to develop a proper foundation in recovery through a combination of:a. Group Therapyb. Experiential Group Therapyc. Relapse Prevention Group Therapyd. Individual Therapy sessions with the counselore. Psycho-educational lectures5. Discharge planning following drug treatment that will prepare the patient for re-entry to society as a sober person by addressing questions and concerns regarding what will happen when they return home. In addition to relapse prevention issues, they learn how to deal with friends, social situations and triggers during treatment, along with strategies to assist in dealing with them.Intervention Services:If someone you know has a drinking problem, is addicted to cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines, prescription medications, or other drugs, and doesn't want help, then intervention can help. Intervention is a positive group process which offers a caring, proven tool to break through the denial and motivate your friend, family member or patient to seek help.
