It’s February and it’s time we do a little reflecting on how far we have come so far this year. I’ll invite you to think of one or two simple acts of courage, and then something you love about yourself. These things could be tiny or massive, but keep it simple.
We’ll embody them by doing the Fountain Breath technique that uses visualization and breathing. Many things we know intellectually but pulling it into our physical bodies anchors its truth and lasts longer.
Practice: standing or seated, eyes open or closed. Imagine a pool of light around you. Draw the breath and light in from the bottoms of your feet, through the body and then exhale and imagine the light exploding down around you like a fountain. Say to yourself the acts of courage and note of love on the inhale; and when exhaling bring in a sense of gratitude and peace.
