Join Tampa Repertory Theatre, Broadway Arts Community, and Tampa Bay Thrives on April 19th for a one-night-only performance of In My Own Little Corner featuring veteran Broadway and screen actress Chryssie Whitehead. In her autobiographical play, Chryssie bravely confronts her Bipolar II diagnosis, unraveling personal struggles with family secrets and societal stigma.

Accompanied by music director Nick Wilders on piano, this intimate performance at the Studio Theatre, Hillsborough Community College, Ybor City, promises a riveting journey through song, dance, and memoir.

After the show, join Chryssie for a post-performance discussion, facilitated by Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Kayla Jones, creating a safe space for dialogue around mental health.

Additionally, on April 20th, join Chryssie for a CAREBOX WORKSHOP at the Patel Conservatory, aimed at students ages 13 and up. This workshop, made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, offers tools for mental well-being.

Tickets for both events are available at tamparep.org. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a transformative conversation about mental health through the power of theater.
